OK, I'm good on the foam peice.
But the batteries don't seem righrt, if I am very gentle and hold the battery compartment under the camera they don't come all the way out, but have to be pushed back into place every time. It looks like the battery compartment was designed to accept the battery cover -- is there a way to send me the battery cover and I will install it ?

Hey , Vern this is Kelly here. Our cameras now come with a cover for the batteries. The camera you bought at the show didn't have the cover. The batteries, if placed in correctly will never fall out . Make sure the springs on the battery compartment is in the middle of the battery on the negative side. You should never have a problem. I opened the camera a thousand times at the two shows we did and I never had a problem with the batteries falling out. The black foam piece is to stick to the back of the camera, the back side of the battery case to act as a cushion to the tree. You just have to grab the camera and the battery compartment firmly when opening and give it a squeeze and it will pop open. I hope this answers your questions . Please feel free to call me anytime and I would be glad to help you out further..Thanks..............Kelly

Vern says...
The unit I have doesn't have the flip up cover over the batteries in the battery pack, like the one in your video. When I open the battery pack the battries fall out every time ? Looks like I am missing that cover. The little door you refer to. But I do have a black foam rubber piece with sticky back tape, that I don't know whare to place ? Please let me know.
Great idea to make the video, wish I had watched it during set up.
